Due to illness Jet Harris will not be continuing to perform with the Me and My Shadows tour, a recent statment has been written on his official website:
From Audrey Knapp. As many people will know, Jet has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, and he has spent four months undergoing various medical tests prior to receiving treatment. He is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment which consists of one day in every three weeks having chemotherapy given intravenously in hospital and the rest of the time he is receiving the chemotherapy in the form of tablets, which he is taking at home. Jet is very positive and he is coping well with the treatment. On the advice of his consultant, the autumn tour has been cancelled, but Jet is looking forward to being able to gig again as soon as possible. I’m sure that everyone will want to give both Jet and Janet their support during this difficult time, and to wish Jet a speedy return to good health. Jet would like everyone to know that he does read all the messages posted in the Guestbook. It means a great deal to Jet and Janet to know that people care and they thank everyone for their good wishes and support Best wishes,

2009 celebrates 50 years of Jet Harris and his amazing musical career.
To celebrate this, the date sheet is filling up with UK dates. The 'Back In Our Rock N Roll days' tour, this year. Featuring Jet Harris, Miss Billie Davis and Mac Poole, Bob Morledge, Alan Lovell and Alan Warner backing. The Rapiers will feature on selected dates (note date sheet)

A great night for all at the Heritage Annual Summer Ball. Awards and dedications given out on behalf of the Second World War Bombers. Me & My Shadows were pleased to have performed live that evening, with a special guest, Denny Laine. A great performance of Denny's classic 'Go Now', and Billie, Jet and The Rapiers giving the audiance a taster of The Me & My Shadows show. Below some pictures of the event.
